Whitefeather stopped dead in her tracks, she turned her ears to listen, ravenpaw had yowled, and he was head straight for the gorge. "What? No!" Whitefeather turned and streached her legs as fast as they would go. This cant be happening! she tryed to run faster but the pain in her back was increasing. a tear welled in her eye but she kept running. She pulled her self behind ravepaw and beside the large beast. "What are you doing! you cant do this!" Whitefeather tryed to pull herself beside Ravenpaw as they aproached the gorge. she wasnt about to loose her first apprentice, not now, not ever.

"It's for ShadowClan!" He yowled, and increased his speed. The forest was a blur beside him as she pounded toward the gorge. The sound of the rushing water was in hearing range, and his mind flooded with scenes from his life. Good bye, Ravenpaw closed his eyes and leaped off the gorge, the dog behind him followed, and yelped in fear and pain as he fell down the rocky wall. In the middle of falling, Ravenpaw smiled, and relaxed. He saw Whitefeather, and Wildtstar in his mind, with all of shadowClan. They were mourning for him, but remembering him as a hero. He felt himself turn dark, almost like falling asleep. A sound of crashing water. A heart thumping. Watter bubbling around him, and his clan mates yowling from far away. That was the end... occ: He's not dead, his father made him wash onto the shore

"RAVENPAW!!" Wildstar yowled as he reached the edge. His heart was pounding as he looked for the brave apprentice. He looked down into the water trying to see the Jet black tom but there was nothing. "Oh no. No, no." He kept meowing looking over the edge. It was all his fault. If he didn't ... if he scented the dog the apprentice would be still here, alive. "It's all my fault.." He breathed.

Tawnypaw's jaw dropped in shock as Ravenpaw's body disappeared over the gorge. He sacrificed his life, she thought. Tawnypaw was in shock. She shook her head slowly in disbelief. Would I have sacrificed my life? she thought. And when she truly examined herself, she found she could not answer that question.

Blinking eyes opened. A black tom couldn't tell where he was. Shadows lay on the cold Earth, while the sodden cat stood up on shaky legs. Cuts where scored up his shoulders and face, and sides. His fur weighed more then a badger from all the water. He shivered. Wobbly, he took his first step to find home.
They think I'm dead, He thought. He had no idea whatsoever where he was. It didn't look like Mothermouth grounds, nor clan territories. But he didn't stop, he kept going. Without the energy to hunt, what was he?
Dawn set in. Birds fluttered in the sky, and Ravenpaw could see. He had been missing for at least three days. Turning a corner, he noticed a fimiliar looking tree... The tree on the moor! He was so starved and deprived, he hadn't noticed the scent of ShadowClan. Eagerly, he proceed toward his home.
