Tanglestar's voice rose up high above the chatter of cats, and the squeal of playing kits. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, join here under high rock for a clan meeting!" She watched all the cats pour out from the dens, and sit in front of her, filling the air with gossip. "Must be about the badgers," "ShadowClan has declared war!" "Twolegs in our territory??" Lost of rumors circled around. Tanglestar waited until all the cats were there and settled, before hushing them.

She nodded to Snowberry as he came forward. His eyes dazzled her and his pelt was sleek and shining. She ripped her gaze away. That was a life she could not live....
Her tail flicked back and fourth as she waited for her clan mates to settle down, there was a few things she needed to announce.

Adderbite and Flashpelt came out of the warrior den both laughing about someing they said to each other as they reach the rock the both sat down together no longer laughing.

Thunderstep stretched his jaws in a massive yawn as Tanglestar's words echoed around the clan. A meeting- he strolled out of the warm den and into the clearing, sitting under the highrock with the other cats that were seeping out of their dens
Whisperpaw scampered out of the medicine cat den and into the clearing, scattered with ginger, tabby, white and golden pelts. She sat herself down, not knowing what this was all about. Blackpaw came to sit beside her, but she managed to forgive him in her mind for how rude he was.
Tanglestar raised her voice once again and the clan hushed. "I have gathered you here today," She started, "To warn you about a badger seen in our Territory." She paused as the fear scent rained up, and murmurs of anxiety filled the open air. "I know you all are nervous about it, but I doubt it will be coming back. I was surprised to hear a few terrified yowls coming from the trees one day, and came there to find Snowberry battling a hefty male badger, and Blackpaw and Whisperpaw in a nearby tree." She scanned the clearing to see the frightened expressions of cats, and the embarrassed Whisperpaw. "And I know my clan should know, that I did loose a life." Then even more anxious murmurers broke out. "But I still have 7 left. The clan will be safe for many seasons." The clan, after a few shocked moments- began to disperse. But Tanglestar regrouped them with a slight flick of her tail, telling them she's not finished just yet.

Tigerstripe listened to his leader about the bager. He flashed a look at his oldest brother Snowberry to see if he was looking at Tanglestar in his kitten face way. As soon as soon as he saw him Tigerstripe saw him looking at Tanglestar. Tigerstripe let out a low hiss as he saw this making Snowberry look up. His brother knew they could not be. He knew it VERY well, too.

Tanglestar cleared her throat. She continued- "Now, the other thing I want to say, it that the two apprentices that were there worked extremely hard battling the badger. I would like Blackpaw to step up here, please." She scanned the clearing for the black pelt of the sleek apprentice, and he perked up, clearly surprised. As he padded forward his muscles rippled.

Blackpaw was surprized to be the center of attetion. he walked up to his clan leader, "Yes Tanglestar." he dipped his head. He turned to the clan just in time to see blueflame walk out of her den and sit down next to Whisperpaw and Moongaze.

Snowberry smiled as soon as he saw his apprentice.
Tigerstripe let out another low growl as he saw Blackpaw go up to his leader.That apprentice was being raised by the Deputy who was in love with the Leader. How wrong could this world get?

Tanglestar began speaking again, "Your mentor, Snowberry, has tought him nearly everything he knows about fighting, hunting, and the warrior code. Now you, blackpaw, have earned your warrior name." She glanced at the apprentice beside her, she could tell he was eager, and proud. "I, Tanglestar, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Blackpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?" She asked him, anxiety flicking in his eyes. Before he answered, Tanglestars gaze drifted to Snowberry, then shot back to Blackpaw.

Snowberry purred as his leader asked Blackpaw the question that so many warriors had to answered. He felt so proud of his apprentice, yet he was sad to see him leave him and become a warrior where he could no longer be the mentor. Very slowly Snowberry turned his head to look at Tanglestar then slowly looked away taking in her pretty face.

Blueflame hissed at Tigerstripe to shut it.
moongaze look at Whisperpaw . "Soonn it will be your turn."
occ: you don't make her a midicne cat. i do were every the midicne cat sgo to meet every new moon at four trees.

occ: Rain, the leader announces it, but when they go to mothermouth, the medicine cat interduces the new medicine cat to the ancestors  I feel so smart saying all these big words- Tanglestar nods. "We expect you to follow through on your answer," She flicked her black- tipped tail. "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Blackpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Blackfang. StarClan honors your courage and strength, and welcomes you as a full warrior of ThunderClan." She blinked at him then dipped her head to touch noses with the new warrior. Next, she glanced up at the clan, and Whisperpaw began the chant. "Blackfang! Blackfang!" "Now," Tanglestar began again. "Whisperpaw, please come forward." Whisperpaws pelt bristled as she anxiously plucked the ground with her paws. She padded up to her leader, and looked into her eyes. Tanglestar gazed back, then began, "Moongaze, ThunderClan medicine cat, please come forward. We are to announce Whisperpaw as being a full medicine cat of ThudnerClan." Tanglestar stepped back behind Whisperpaw and waited for Moongaze to come forward and announce Whisperpaws new name. |
