Blackpaw sat up, "Tanglestar. Can i talk to you? when i was laying with Whisperpaw, " He paused and gave her a loving look, "Starclan said it wasn't my time to go, and then they said a great trouble was coming to the forest." blackpaw had fear in his eyes, "What now?"

Tanglestar whipped around to the sound of Blackaw's voice. He might have heard her. She cleared her throat, then padded into the medicine cats den. "Blackpaw, lets go talk some were else." She mewed, and padded out. She heard him get out of him nest, and come after her. They went right outside camp. Thunderstep was keeping guard, and nodded to Tanglestar and Blackpaw as they walked by. Tanglestar sat down. Her tail folded over her paws neatly. "Now, Blackpaw. What is this trouble?" She asked in a calm voice. "Did they tell you anything else?" It was unusual for an average cat to share with StarClan.

Blackpaw seen the concern in her eyes, "They only told me that a great trouble was coming and to tell you." Blackpaw could barely keep his eyes open. "I really didn't know how to tell you but i guess i just did." Blackpaw was setted with tail laying behind him. he did even have the strength to pull it over his paws.

Tanglestar sighed. "And that's all we need," She looked up at the clearly exhausted apprentice. "Blackpaw, go get some rest, we can talk in the morning ok? Don't worry about it," She said, even though it was important for every cat in the forest to be aware of this. She nodded solemnly and allowed him to walk back to camp, his tail trailing in the leaves, ears down, eyes half-way closed. She looked up once more like she had that same night. The stars were burning brightly in the dark black sky, and the moon shinning down on the forest. "Oh, Daggerclaw, brother, please look down on us from StarClan, protect us. Please....." She looked back down, then walked slowly back to camp, looking at her paws all the way. occ: Random name, lol  |

Blackpaw nodded, "Okay. Do you want me too go back to the medicine cat's den?" he herd his aunt prey to the stars. "Me too."

Tanglestar mewed, "yes, go to teh medicine cats den, rest well." She went into her den after a while and curled up tightly. It only seamed a momment before dawn light was flittering into her den. She sighed

Blackpaw Slowly went out of the den and to the medicine cat den. He looked up to the sky, "I wish you were here." Blackpaw's sholder hurt like your nose in a mouse trap.

Tanglestar woke to dawn light filling up her den. She must get up now. She yawned and stretched, the scars from the badger still showing. Padding out of her den, she spotted Whisperpaw stretching right outside of her den. "Good morning, Whisperpaw!" She mewed gleefully despite her scratches and sores. "Fine," She yawned back. "He's rather tired, but he'll gt better." She nodded to Tanglestar. "You had better come in and get those scars treated, you know. We can't have our leader with an infection." Tanglestar rolled her eyes. "Have it your way," She mewed as she followed Whisperpaw into her den. At least she could see Blackpaw once more. It was amazing how much he reminded her of her brother. The den was warm, and full of a warm light. Blackpaw was in the corner of the den, snoring. Tanglestar smiled. good, she mewed to herself. He needs it. Whisperpaw got some moss and put it on Tanglestars shoulder for her sore muscles. Then Whisperpaw put some liquidy stuff that smelt like bile on her. Tanglestar wrinkled her nose. "That should do it," Whisperpaw yawned again. "Now, may I spend some time with Blackpaw?" She mewed pleasantly. Tanglestar didn't like ti, but she nodded and padded out to see how Snowberry was coming along making the patrols.
Whisperpaw curled up beside Blackpaw, letting his shallow breathes take her into a deep dreamless sleep.

Blackpaw's breaths were sallow and quick. He then felt the warm pelt of a cat as the sweet scent of Whisperpaw flowed over him. Blackpaw's breathing deepened but didn't slow down. A low purr sounded into his throat, "Whisperpaw..." Blackpaw's shoulder was in horible pain.
Moongaze walked into the medicine cat den from the dirt place tunnel. She smiled when she seen the two apprentices curled togather in the corrnner, but it soon turned into a frown. Blackpaw's shoulder was still swollen. Moongaze padded over to the black apprentice and touched her nose to his shoulder. Blackpaw shuddered at the cold touch, his shoulder was warm with infection. Moongaz then moved to Whisperpaw, the small apprentice looked so peacful, but her clan needed her, "Whisperpaw, Blackpaw's got an infection in his shoulder i need you to get some more herbs for him." Moongaze prodded Whisperpaw who sterd slowly waking from sleep.

Whisperpaw slowly looked up to the prodding in her side. "Which herbs? Marigold for infection?" She mewed drowsily as she got to her paws. Sleep made her clumsy, but she managed. "I can go get some by the RiverClan border. She looked into her mentors eyes for approval. She hoped she didn't know Blackpaw and her were almost, together.

Moongaze eyes filled with sleepyness, " yes that would be great. Go get blueflame and take her. Im still worryed about that badger comeing around. And plus she can help you get some for storage, i have a filling that its going to be a ruff winter." Mongaze squizzed into the crack i the rock it was warm from the sun beam coming throught the hole in the top.

occ: i guess we can call her winsperwind now..?
Whisperwind blinked. "ok, Bye" She turned and padded out of the warm den and into the cool breeze. She closed her eyes tight, the chill burned them. She opened them a little to serch for Blueflame, and she found her merrily talking to Thunderstep. "Blueflame," Whisperwind started as she padded toward her.

Blueflame gave her chest a quick lick before looking up at the medicine cat. "Yes, medicine cat! it seems like yesterday you were a kit hopping around the nursery yelling herbs to the clan." Blueflame laughted and turned her body to the small apprentice. "Do you need something Whisperwind?"
Moongaze then remembered she needed more herbs than that. winter was comeing a nd the storage was runnning low. Moongaze then gathered herself, careful not to desturb Blackwind, and headed into the clearing to catch up to the patrol before they set out. "Whisperwind i need some others too. i want you to get some ragwort,sorrel, daisy, charmomile, and burnet. you may need to get another warrior cause its alot. you can find those by the towleg nes blueflame should know shes been on this mition before.

Whisperwind nodded to the warrior, and could not suppress a mrrow of laughter rumbling out of her throat. "I need to gather herbs, will you go with me?" she asked. When they were getting ready to set out, her mentor told her more things she needed. Whisperwind sighed and told Blueflame to wait right there, and Whisperwind ran to get the heftiest cat in ThunderClan, Thunderstep. She squeezed into the warriors den, were she didn't feel all that welcome. It was empty, instead of Thunderstep who was changing the nests in there. He looked at Whisperwind and smiled. "Looks odd huh? We don't have enough apprentices to do this job for us! We had better start getting some kits 'round here," He meowed as he finished up real quick, and then stepped out of the den and into the sunlight. "Good day," Thunderstep mrowed to her. "Hello, Thunderstep. Will you go with Blueflame and I? We need to go collect many herbs and I needed more then two paw fulls of help." Thunderstep nodded , smiled, and padded over to Blueflame. They talked like they knew each other more then any other cat in ThunderClan. She padded over to join them, and Whisperwind had the medicine cat honor of leading them into the forest. She was going through all the herbs Moongaze wanted her to get in her head over and over. She knew sorrel and daisy could be found near the Tree Cut place. She veered on her coarse, the warriors close behind. the scent of Twoleg and chopped trees filled the air, but also the sent of Daisy, and a hint of sorrel. She stopped and glanced at her "patrol" and blinked. They were close to the Tree Cut place and she'd no clue what to do now. There were Twolegs very close, too. And barking work dogs...

Blueflame's pelt brushed thundersteps. The scent odf daisy filled her nosed, "What if we split up to get them and meet back here? i could get the burnet and chamomile. I found some the other day in the twoleg nest when i was casing a squiral up a tree!" Before ether ca could anwser she bound away throught the undergrowth.
