Kitsong, taken aback by the question, smiled and answered matter-of-factually, "Of course I do." It would be Kitsongs first official apprentice. Kitsong bounded up to where Rainstar and Bumblepaw were, and touched her pink nose to his. "I will teach you everything I know." She whispered to him. "Even if it isn't a lot!" She purred, joking with the small tom. Excitement rushed over her like a wave as she thought about what she should teach him first. [/size] |

Rainstar looked at bumblepaw, "Then by the powers of StarClan, you will train and learn the ways of the medicine cat. To become the best you can be in order to protect this clan."

Bumblepaw looked at his new mentor. "Anywhere! I'll love to see the Medicine den and go and see the land and learn the herbs and go looking for herbs!!!" Bumblepaw meowed, bouncing up and down.

Kitsong laughed as she flicked her tail, walking beside the younger cat. "There will be plenty of time for herb and procedure learning. First, we'll check out the den." Kitsong led Bumblepaw into the medicine cat den, well hidden and blocked off for anyone who doesn't know the way.
The stood in the center, pointing her tail to a clump of grees moss in the corner. "We collect water through the moss for sickened or wounded cats." She explained. "The moss holds plenty of water for them, and leaves it filtered and cool." Pointing her tail to the many holes engraved in the cave walls, she told her new apprentice, "This is the herb storage. I collect the herbs, and sort them out. So I can pull out any herb I need quickly without much thought. Can you guess how we can keep the herbs from spoiling or drying out?" She quizzed him.
