Rivershadow was picked to go on a border patrol by herself. She wanted to be alone she needed to think. Her mind had been clouded by her love for Darkclaw. She stopped and shook as if trying to shake her thoughts about him away. But she didn't want to she loved him too much.

He had been surprised when Rivershadow had been allowed to go on a border patrol by herself, she probably had asked beforehand if it was fine. He growled under his breath as he asked to go on the border patrol with her, after all, if she met up with another clan, it probably would not end well. One cat against a bigger group? He would not let her get hurt, he growled slightly in his throat as his paws padded against the earth and ran up to catch up with Rivershadow.
"Rivershadow!" He meowed loudly, his tail streaming behind him and his ears flat on his head as he ran toward her. His muscles rippling under his pelt as he caught a glimpse of her and quickened, catching up to her. |

Rivershadow turned qickly.
"Hello Darkclaw," Rivershadow mewed happily.
He was so handsome how could any resist him, Rivershadow thought. She couldn't belive that she was alone with him her heart was about to explode with happiness.
