Rainstar felt the breeze on her pelt, she looked down at the stream flowing next to her. She never thought that she woulds become a leader, listening to her own rules and never really thought at how she was doing it, good or bad. Rainstar looked at her terriotory just as a cat was appearing.

Hailstorm, the clan deputy, pushing her way through a heather bush. "Rainstar," she dipped her head, and sat next to her friend. That were like sisters ever since birth. "Somethings troubling you." She mewed, keeping her gaze fixed on the water trickling beside her.

Rainsatr looked at her deputy, "Yeah yuor right." Rainstar looked back down at the stream, "I don't think that some cats, are made at me for getting made at me for the gathering that happened," Rainstar had a tear on her check, "I don't know if it was the right thing to do."

Hailstorm saw the sorrow. "I'm sure you did the right thing for RiverClan." Her light blue eyes fixed on a pebble in the stream. "You defended us, and even though you got a little hostile, you still told the other clans we can stand up for ourselves, and not be put down," Her voice trailed as she looked at her leader. There was a glistening tear on her cheek. There was no reason whatsoever to be sad for herself. Her doings were mostly right.

Hailstorm pushed herself to her paws and followed. "Stupid vole" She murmured. "It literally jumped into your paws there." She purred, trying to lift spirits. Hailstorm glanced around, tasting the air. Nothing was nearby and the leaf bare cold swept through her fur. Sighing, she bent down next to the stream and began to fish. She saw a fish glimmer near the surface, she threw her paw into the water and pierced her claw into it's flesh, and threw it out of the water and onto land were it flopped around. Cleanly, she nipped it's neck and it stopped moving. She turned around and tried again. She ended up with a pile of 5 fish, enough to feed the nursery and elders. Maybe more. She looked around to find Rainstar. She was sure they had a lot to carry back.

Rainstar padded back to Hailstorm with two water voles and three thrush. "I'll help you with that if you need any. That is if i can carry all of this!" Rainstar could only muffle the words with all the prey in her mouth. "At least this winter we'll have the fish1"

"Hopefully the river won't freeze up like many seasons ago," Hailstorm grabbed her share of prey and walked clumsily behind her leader. The rushing sound of the stream told her the leaf bare must turn out great.
