Snowberry was in Tall Pines taking a deep breath. Sometimes he felt really .... weird around his leader, Tanglestar. He just couldn't understand it. He was sure it wasn't love yet he felt like it wasn't friendship either.

Tanglestar took in a deep breath. The morning air was light and dew soaked her paws. She needed some time away from the clan. Something fuzzed inside her every time she thought about her deputy, Snowberry. She wasn't sure what is was, but she needed to think about it for a while. As she padded through the forest, a familiar scent lingered in the undergrowth. Snowberry!! Excitement came over her like a wavy as she wiggled through a few bramble bushes. A pure white pelt came into sight. "Snowberry!" Tanglestar purred as she padded over to him. "What are you doing out here?"

Snowberry felt his pelt rise with surpise. He just had to think about her and she would appear! Cool. "Whoa Taglestar! You scared the living daylight out of me!" He meowed. He felt the feelings that he felt for her come back to him. Gee go away would you? Snowberry felt like hissing at the feelings.

Tanglestar purred at the surprised tom. "Didn't mean to scare you," She flicked her ear. "So, what are you doing out here?" Tanglestar sat down, her tail over her red and white paws, and her eyes gleamed with curiosity. And for Snowberry.

Snowberry sat down too on the forest floor.
"I needed to come out for alittle bit of air you know what I mean?" Snowberry meowed smiling his pelt was alittle bit mucky which he bent over to clean then looked back a his leader.
