Lily moved threw the forest, the wet ground brushed her belly, and was soft under paw. Clinging to her white pelt she made her way to more sturdy ground. Her rough pads felt relaxed as the soothing puddles sunk toward her. A twig snapped in the wind and Lily jumped, flicking her ears she lifted her nose in the air. Lily sighed, Nothing. Lily jumped out of the puddle, shaking the mud ff her pelt. Damn! This is ganna be a pain to get out. Her thoughts seemed to echo off the tall trees. Lily walked until she found a smoother place to groom herself. Her eyes searched until she spotted a clearing under a tree. She then leaped out of the swamp and sat down under the tall pine. Lily then began to lick her pelt clean. She screwed up her face as the darted taste of mud filled her mouth.

His jet black pelt rushed through the undergrowth at the scent of a new cat. His amber eyes scanned the surface, looking for the soul that dared cross into his territory. His paws made no noise as they scuffed against the marshy forest floor in which he walked. The aimless creature that stood only a few foxlenghts in front was obviously a loner; her pelt crumpled up, her covered in mud...

Ravenflight bunched down as it scrunched up it's face in disgust. He reared on his muscled, realizing it was striking time. He catapulted off the ground, and onto the enemy. He kept his claws sheathed, in case. He yowled furiously, and before he knew it the two cats were rolling on the mud covered floor, meowing loudly and swiping at each other. The tom had to admit, the loner She-Cat put up a fight. Finally, both cats parted, panting heavily. They faced eachother with such hatred.

"Explain your place on ShadowClan territory!" Ravenfllight hissed to the she-cat.

Lily laughted and licked her chest, her fur on end she shook it flat. "Explain your place in "Shadowclan" territory! What ever that is." Lily sat down her eyes bright with curiosity, "My names Lily! Whats yours?" lily sniffed the air secretley make sure there were no other cats around to ambush her.

"My Place in ShadowClan territory is a loyal warrior who keeps little scumb-bag loners away like you!" He growled as he swooshed his tail in the air, neck fur starting to lay flat. This loner was playful and fun, not intentionally angry at the world. Whats up with this cat??

"Now, if you haven't already noticed, your in some other cats' territory!" He scoffed, still standing his ground.

Lily looked around her. "Nope. never really noticed." She shook her pelt making samll cluts of mud flying off of her. One landed on the Black toms coat. "Wups! Sorry! Well if you really wanna know my place in Shadowclan territory you have to tell me your name. Because i dont talk to strangers. Stranger danger." Lily nodded her head as she spoke the words.

Ravenflgiht hissed as the flashy she-cat splattered the mud onto his pelt. He looked at her with anger. "Loners like yourself don't deserve to know the names of true clan cats." He spoke, chin raised. "I suggest you either get out of my territory now, of I'll have to make you."

Lily couched ready to pounce or move at any moment, "Bring it on." Lily spat the words at the loner. Agernealine pumped threw viens, knew energy bursh threw her. "I know how to fight, just to let you know." Lily flicked her ear. Lily smirked, "You cant fight a she-cat by your slef? So you have to have back up?"

Ravenflight smirked. "Sorry little loner, but only real blooded clan cats can take on a real, blooded clan cat." He swooshed his tail. Suddenly, everything from his previous meeting with his father flooded into his head. All the moves he used to dissapear, all the abilities he aquired. Then he shook it away. "Look, loner." He let his claws slide back into their sheathes. "I'm not going to fight you today. Too much blood has been shed already. "I'm going to let you go. But if you come back into our territory again, don't think I would rip you to shreds and feed you to the hungry kits in our clan. You understand?" He asked her, slightly cocking his head.

Lily rose an eye brow, "How can all the rumors of you all being ferice and canibles, if you wont even fight me." A crucked smile grew across her face. "Fight me!"

"If I fought you, you wouldn't live to tell it." What a nieve, imbecilic she-cat. He thought as a smile grew across his face. "What do you think about looking into joining the clan? We could use some diehearted souls like you to throw yourselves into battles." He told her, swishing his tail.

Lily looked at the tom, "Why would i do that? You dont seem very happy in this clan." Lily stood up and walked around the sleek black tom, "But you look pretty healthy." Lily sat back infront of him and poundered. "But dont you have to talk to your "Leader" or something?" Lily looked the tom up and down, "And why would i join something if i dont even no the inviters name?" Lily gestered with her tail.

"Because joining a clan has many opportunities. If you get sick, or old, other cats can nurse you back to health. As a loner, you would die. Point blank. And it forms structure to your life. Things would change,Lily." He said, smirking as he used her name for the first time. "You cirtanally have the ability to be a well proven clan cat. Like me, and like many other cats around here." He flinched as he thought about him unloyalty.

"And, I'm Ravenflight." He nodded.
