Rainstar smiled, "Alright sky, Welcome to the clan." Rainstar glanced at Pantherclaw, "Later will you ake her around the camp and the territory? It'd be best if you took another aprentice to show her the ropes. Oh and when Hailstorm shows up, Take her too" Pantherclaw dipped his head and flicked his tail to the fresh kill pile, "ARe you hungry?" his eyes met hers.

Sky gulped when she heard the name 'Hailstorm'. That was the cat that had hated her so... She shook with nervousness.
The huge black tom directed her view to a pile of what looked like dead creatures. It was! Her skin crawled as she recognized the small animals laying in the pile under a shaded fern. She knew this is what they ate... And what she was expected to eat. She swallowed hard, again and again. "Uhm," She began, taking a deep breath, and keeping her eyes fixated on the stinking dead carcasses. "I-" She was having a war in her mind, already. And I just got here! If I can't decide if I want to eat or now, what am I going to do when something else happens like this! But then something stuck her. She remembered hearing stories of these wild cats, and they all had to work before they ate. She didn't want to eat before she deserved it. If I ever even deserve it... She thought. "No. No, I'm not hungry right now." She finally spat out the answer. I'll eat when I deserve it. Her belly growled and she tore her gaze away, and back to the black tom. [/blockquote]

Patherclaw smiled, "Your hungry," Pantherclaw layed his tail on the small she-cats shoulders, "Don't worry, you have time to hunt later, you live here now. And sooner or later it will end up a chour. Now come on. I can split a fish with you if you want."

Sky felt a burst of happiness, that she would have a full belly, through her. Followed by a burst of guilt. She contained her excitement, however, and followed the black tom. She had no choice anyway. She didn't want to argue with this cat. Sky didn't know who this food might taste.. She hesitated as she walked toward the pile of food. The smell was unreal, let alone the fact that cats ate this! But, if she wanted to live here, she'd have to deal.

Pahterclaw flicked his tail over the small cats nose, he laughed, "Stop feeling guilty." Patherclaw pulled a large bass from the pile, "You'll make up what your eating soon enough." He dropped the prey infront of the small cat, "I think this will do us, Of course the fish is almost as big as you" pantherclaw smiled, his larg fangs shown with delight.

Sky couldn't help but let out a nervous laugh. She watched Pantherclaw carefully. She swallowed hard. What will this taste like?? she asked herself. She couldn't tell if it smelled awful, or delightful. It was giving her mixed emotions, she couldn't tell. the only way to find out was to try it.
Sky swallowed again, then got a conformation nod from Pantherclaw, and bent down. Hesitantly, she opened her mouth and tried to take a bite of the kill.
First attempt: Negative.
She went back again for another try.
Second attempt: Nada.
And again, when she had finally made a small indent in the fish's flesh, she could see the edible stuff on the inside. She gingerly stuck her small clean muzzle into the fish's pink insides. It was surprisingly warm, tender, and flavor filled. Much better then the fancy canned junk her people would feed her. She quickly bent down for another bite.
Realizing how hoggish she was being she quickly jolted back, her mouth stuffed. After she swallowed, she could feel the sticky residue on her pure white muzzle, now tinted pink. Rats! She blushed in embarrassment and worked on getting the fish out of her muzzle and dull teeth. She could not get over how delicious the fish was. [/blockquote]
