Night was setting in in ThunderClan. Whisperwind scurried out of her den, and padded quickly to the Nursery. She had plenty of responsibilities. Their new leader, Dawnstar, had lead the clan into a suprise battle with ShadowClan...
Ridiculous. She shook her head. And the thought of Tanglefire no longer their leader... and being shunned for her mistakes made Whisperwind shiver. She had done the same. However, no one knew that about her yet...
Disregarding her troubles, she put a smile on her face and squeezed into the nursery. She had to watch the kits while their mother's were on duty, since the kits were old enough to be without their mothers for a while now.
"Featherkit, Redkit! You're going to hurt yourselves. Dovekit, turn around, you're about to run into the wall." She nosed the blind kit away from the wall and sighed. "Are any of you hungry?" She had brought some small wild berried from the forest close by for the kits to snack on, for freshkill was running low, and she knew the warriors would need it when they returned from battle. |

Skykit padded up to the sliver cat. Her blue eyes looked up at the silky cat. Skykit drew her paw onto the she-cats leg. The small kit opened her mouth for a mew but no nose was herd.

Whisperwind couldn't help but chuckle at the kit's deafened mew. She pushed on her playfully with her paw to knock her over. Dovekit and Skykit were her kits. She blinked a tear out of her eye, then shielded her face until she could get over the thought. She wished she could tell her kits... but another half of her hoped they'd never find out. But not that the entire clan knows, they were sure to find out eventually.
Dovekit found her way to her sister and Whisperwind. She prodded her sister with her paw, and presumed to wrestle with her. "Haha! Take that!" She squealed. Many cats wonder how Dovekit and Skykit can communicate, figuring that one was blind, unable to see the nonspeaking other. But they can communicate much better then any other cat's by far.
Frostkit, Tanglefire's kit, shook her white fur and padded over to Whisperwind. "Can we go outside?" she mewed. "Oh please??"
"It's dark out, little one." Whisperwind purred. "Instead we can all sit in here and talk." She suggested, before curling up and allowing them to gather round. |

Skykit read the lips of the Medicine cat. Her hopes were high as she prodded her sister,Tell her to tell a story!! Skykits thoughts pressed hard into her mind.
Skykit didnt know how to make words yet. She could just read them from the mouth of the other cats cats. Skykit always knew she was different but she didnt know how, all she knew was she was her sisters eyes, and Dovekit was her ears.

Dovekit could hear Skykit's voice echoing in her mind. "Skykit wants you to tell us a story!" Dovekit shouted, nearly jumping off her haunches.
"Is that so?" Whisperwind said, glancing at both Dovekit and Skykit. "Interesting. Very well, who you like to hear a story?"
Both Dovekit and Frostkit jumped up in joy.
Whisperwind couldn't help but notice Dovekit. She had her eyes narrowed slightly, and she was looking at her sister with a huge smile on her face. Then it seemed Skykit had understood, for Dovekit nodded and smiled even wider, then looked back at Whisperwind, her tail drumming the ground.
Fadingkit stretched and padded towards the group of kits. She had just woken up. Her fur was matted and smokey black. Her long tail swayed to keep her half asleep body walking in a straight line. She yawned and took a seat. "A story?" Her crackly voice emerged. "Beats anything else in this dumb camp." she murmured. She didn't fit in. Anywhere.

Dovekit smiled. She looked at the medicine cats apprentice and nodded her head. Her white tail sweeped the ground cool earth. Dove kit glanced to the side to see the other smokie kit pad over to the litter. She tilted her head to the side, the kit mumered something but Dvekit couldnt make it out.

"Hm," Whisperwind pondered something entertaining to tell the kits to keep them occupied for the time being. "Well, lets see." Then she came up with the perfect lesson for them.
"Once there was a medicine cat's apprentice just like me." She swallowed, and pushed through her story. "You all know it's against the Warrior Code for a medicine cat to have kits, right? Well this one fell in love. Big time." She let out a nervous laugh. "And had two kits. Two wonderful, beautiful healthy kits." She shook her head quickly, as she was letting out too much detail. "What do you all think will happen to the Medicine Cat in the end?" She asked them, curious for their answers. She spoke slowly through it all, so Featherkit could understand her.
Fadingkit shot up all of the sudden. "Chop 'er head off!" she growled, then turned and pounced on Frostkit who let out a surprised mew.
Dovekit cocked her head, and thought for a moment. "They should let her have a second chance. Second chances are good. They can help cats learn from their mistakes."
"But this was a very big mistake, and it was well known that a Medicine Cat shouldn't have kits." Whisperwind pointed out.
"Oh... Let me see what Featherkit thinks." Dovekit said as she turned toward her sister for a fraction of a second. What do you think they should do to the Medicine Cat?" Dovekit thought. [/blockquote] |

occ: man we're all messed up i accedently played dovekit and you said i was featherkit XDD silly tangle and rain
Skykit tilted her to one side carefully reading the words. It was love, she can't help her feelings... Skykit felt faddinkit tence, she glanced over, Those are foul words to say...Skykit's green and blue eyes looked at her sister, The medicine cat apprentice shouldn't be ashamed of her feelings! She shouldn't be afriad of what might happen, if the kits are healthy, they would grow into great warriors, she should be proud! Skykits thoughts rang in her mind.

Dovekit nodded excitedly and repeated what (In her own words) That her sister had thought to her. By now, Dovekit didn't even have to focus on her sister, she could just allow herself into her mind when She felt Skykit had something to say..
The look on Whisperwind's face was priceless.
