Light broke like a needle piercing thread through the pitch black deepness lurking beneath the cat.
She closed her eyes, and gracefully leaped from the sparkling clouds above, to the gloomy darkness below. As soon as the crystal white paws thumped the ground, the light in the clouds closed shut, leaving her in utter darkness.
Taking a deep breath, the StarClan cat padded through the Dark Forest. Exposed, and open.
As she walked the path toward Crowheart's layer, jaunts and cursing words from the bushes spoke to her. She was not welcome here, and never would be. Where she walked, a thin layer of lightened glimmer layed there; the cats following her (To try to frighten her) ran away in a hiss from it.
Egretsong, the great StarClan hero, walked with her head raised high, and her tail erect. Showing no fear or hesitation.
Her glimmering and starry body was fading in this forest to where you couldn't make out that she was even from StarClan anymore. The darkness had shrouded it. She only looked like a ghost now.
Finally, a break in a seemingly dead end before her showed that she had finally made it to the end of the math, and into Crowheart's territory. She paused, sucked in the cold, sharp air that seemed to slice through her lungs like rockets. No turning back. StarClan, give me your wings. She pleaded, as she finally gained the courage to press through the bushes, and see none other but Crowheart upon a nearby log. She couldn't tell if he was facing her, and aware that she was there, or if his back was to her. She'd just have to find out.
Piercing blue eyes guiding her, Egretsong walked gallantly toward her old mate. Holding back her fear. She glanced toward the moon, summoning her StarClan family to being her light. No use. There was absolutely no communicating with StarClan here.
"Crowheart." Her gentle words shattered the silence. She waited for a reply.

He layed stretched out on the cool dry log. something startled the Dark forest. He flicked his ear and snarled, Starclan. Crowheart eyes seemed to widen for one a breff second. Egretsong. Memories flowed threw his mind, he shook his head and stiffened. He quietly rose and sat waiting for the Stary cat.
Her image came into perspecive. He narrowed his pericing green eyes. Her voice spoke, sliceing the smoky thin air into a million shards, they seemed to stab him into pieces. It took every inch of Crowheart to hide the pain.
He held his head straight and leaped down from the log. His paw steps were silent as he gracefully landed. Crowheart walked slowly up to the stary cat. Her scent raced around him, only a fox-length away, his large tail swipped back and forth threw the earth. Crowheart spoke nothing.

Egretsong took in yet another deep breath. She couldn't hide it, she had missed him.
"Crowheart." She repeated, rather solemnly. Her heart raced and her eyes searched him. She kept her form straight. She wasn't welcome here, and never would be.
"We need to talk." She spoke, not as an ex-mate, but as a StarClan cat. There was no holding back, and nothing had changed between them.
After a long while with still no reply, she started again: "StarClan has reason to believe you've been meeting with cats from the clans. Possibly in a way to destroy the forest. StarClan asks, 'is this true'?" She billowed, afraid to hear the answer. she kept still and held her ground. She could be attacked at any moment.
Even by Crowheart.

Crowheart narrowed his eyes, anger flowed threw him, his words were sharp and short, "Who welcomed you here?" He began to slowly started to circle the stary cat, "What is your reason? Your afraid more cats may join you and your pampered clan mates?" Crowheart can inches to her nose, he hissed without flinching, "how would i do such a thing?" Crowheart could lie straight threw his teeth, without even lieing at all. Before a reply was noticed or sugested, Crowheart turned and began to pace away, "Leave. You are no longer wanted here..." Crowheart didnt mean to let the words slip, but somehow they made a way threw. He didnt mean leabe the dark forest, but something else where she will always be wanted.
