"Bramblepaw?" Kitsong called through camp. She hadn't seen her apprentice today, and she was in desperate need of some herbs. Hailstorm, the Riverclan deputy padded by. "Hailstorm?" She mewed kindly. "Yeah?" She paused to answer the medicine cat. "Have you seen Bramblepaw at all?" She asked, a little worry in her voice. Hailstorm thought for a little bit, then scanned the camp. "Nope, but I'm sure she's fine. Have you checked all the dens?" She mewed. "I will, thanks Hailstorm. Tell me if you spot her." She padded away, toward the elders den. "Bramblepaw?" she called. No answer except from a loud snore from an elder. Were are you? she puffed, and continued to the apprentices den. "Bramblepaw?" She called again. |

Rainstar seen her medicine cat look for her apprentice, "I think i seen Bramblepaw go out in serach for herbs. But don't worry he'll show." Rainstar padded up. "I could get some warriors to help you gather herbs.

Rainstar flicked her tail for some warriors to pad up, "You can tell them were to find them and they'll get some."

 .C.: I have Thornpelt, Cloudwhisker and Sundapple. Bramblepaw padded leisurely through the camp entrance, a couple of voles swinging from her jaws. She looked around and saw Rainstar and Kitsong calling her name. Bramblepaw placed the voles on the fresh-kill pile and mewed, "I'm here." |

Kitsong swong her gaze across the clearing toward her apprentice. "Where were you? Hunting?" She mewed. "You know you should really tell a warrior before you go out of camp," She started, then stopped. There was no reason to get aggravated at Bramblepaw for hunting for her clan. "Alright, We have everything under control now Rainstar. She dipped her head. "Thanks for the help. Now come on Bramblepaw, get a bite to eat and we'll go get some catmint for greencough. It's going to be a hard leaf-bare." She nodded toward the fresh-kill pile, flicking her ear.

Rainstar dipped her head, "Alright." Rainstar then dipped her ehad to the apprentice, "Thank you we needed a little prey." Rainstar padded to the clearing .

"O.K." Bramblepaw padded over to the fresh-kill and began eating a fish. She gulped down the last morsel and padded over to Kitsong.
"Where can we find catmint?" she asked.

"We have to go near the Twoleg place." She mewed to her apprentice. "And that means we have to be very careful." She drew in a deep breath. "So, are we ready Bramblepaw?" She asked, tail flicking. She knew this could be a life threatening situation as well.

"I'm ready," Bramblepaw mewed. She knew she would have to do whatever it took to heal her Clan mates.

"Alright," Kitsong mewed, giving off a deep breath. She turned and nodded to Hailstorm and Rainstar in good by, and left off with Bramblepaw following behind. "Ok now Bramblepaw," Sh meowed. "Going to the twoleg place is very dangerous. We have to watch out pelts closely for not only twolegs, but dogs and monsters as well." She leapt over a fallen branch. "We have to stay together, and watch each others pelts, as well as out own. This may not be your first trip to the twoleg place but it seems every time gets worse. I'll keep watch while you run to get the Catmint. Do you know what it looks like?" Kitsong was sure she did, but she needed to refresh Bramblepaws memory. This could be a time they couldn't come back if there was a mistake.

.C.: The part about what it looks like may not be right, I just guessed. "Well I know that it is used to ease pain and help to cure Greencough, Blackcough and Whitecough, so it is very important to have! It is gathered and pressed into wounds to stop bleeding. It is generally only used with wounds that risk bleeding heavily as they can cause increased risk of infection . . . oh yes! I remember! It is dark green with spiky edges!" Bramblepaw meowed. |
