Whisperpaw twitched her whiskers. She padded over the Snowberry and whispered something, but loud enough to were Blackpaw could intentionally hear her. "He suffers from short term memory loss. Found often in cats like him. " She mrrowed laughter and she flicked her tail back and fourth in amusement.

Blackpaw squinted his eyes at the medicine cat apprentice, "Well a least I can hear my mentor give me directions!" Blackpaw remember when he was coming out of the apprentice den to go hunting and saw Whisperpaw eating a mouse with her mentor yelling her name from the other side of the clearing. He had to go over and nug the apprentice to anwser her mentor. Blackpaw laughted at the memory.

Whisperpaw narrowed her eyes to tiny slits. "At least I can respect she-cats, better yet your medicine cat apprentice." With that she stood and stalked away, tail and nose high in the air, through the bushes, out of the toms sight. Whisperpaw padded through ThunderClan territory, mumbling to herself, "Toms have no respect whatsoever... If only they could learn to respect us she-cats, without us, the clans would be nothing... And without medicine cats, they would die!!" She then heard a low growl from behind the shrub to her left. She slowly turned her head and backed away, her amber eyes glistening with fear and curiosity... More throaty growls came from the shrub... more... more... Then a dark shadow appeared. FOX! she shouted. She tried to run, but her legs would not move! The creature loomed over her, blocking the sunlight. It's russet fur was clumped together and matted. And at its mouth, a blood stained mouth a glistening white teeth. It kept stepping closer, Whisperpaw stepped backward. She let out a blood curling yowl and the animal lunged for her.... She was done... I'm sorry Blackpaw- She thought... I'm so sorry. And you know I still love you. Even if it is forbidden... Whisperpaw waited for the rain, and blood gurgling from her neck, puddles of the deep red substance on the soft forest floor... and then blackpaw... Oh, Blackpaw... Him staring at her limp, cold corpse... The burial... all weeping... it all flashed before her eyes....

Blackpaw Lunged at the dark shape looming over Whisperpaw. No! His head smashed into the foxes side, with a big Uff! "Get out!" Blackpaw's voice rang out in the sandy hallow.

Whicperpaw blinked and a black blur rushed toward the fox. It staggered, but was now even more angry. "That wont do anything, Blackpaw!" she cried inside her mind.. The fox could not get ahold of blackpaws agile body, so it started nipping at Whisperpaw. She cried out in pain, trying to score the opponent on the muzzle... Then it stopped. It fled into the bushed near by. I was gasping for breath as it ran away, its tail between its legs. I scrambled to my feet and locked my eyes on a another set of bushes. My voice ran out in terror as I urged Blackpaw and i to run. "Badger!" I shrieked. I felt like i was running in slow motion, my body wasnt moving but my legs were. Blackpaw gave me a push and i was darting through the trees, not wanting to lead the looming creature that was behind toward camp.

Whisperpaw sat on a think branch well up the tree. Her lungs gasped for air as her claws sunk into the tree bark further. She watched as Snowberry battled the badger, and meowed to him, her voice cracking; "Snowberry, Come On!!"

"Yeah!" Shouted Whisperpaw as she glanced below her to see the quivering black body. "Get up here quick, Snowberry, Before it gets you!!" Whisperpaws voice shook with worry and strain. She winced when she saw the huge paw of the beast almost crash down on Snowberry's pelt. And her pears pricked as she heard the crunching of leaves and thudding of paws on the forest floor. Oh, no... She thought. We don't need another monster sent to kill us!! But out of the bushes came the familiar blazing red pelt of Tanglestar, her usual ice blue eyes gleaming a dark amber as she flashed her razor sharp fangs and dashed toward the badger. Tanglestar's paws hit the ground hard as she bolted to aid Snowberry and the two apprentices. Her thoughts rang out, as if Snowberry could hear them. Go Snowberry, up the tree! Tanglestar pushed hard off the earth as she forced her agile body into the air. She let out a snarl and unsheathed her claws and let her voice ring in the air; "Don't mess with my clan!!" She gripped the badgers muscular shoulder and sunk her claws and teeth deep into it. The badger let out a painful cry as it tried to shake her off. She could smell the warm blood seeing out of the beasts' body, staining it's white fur. Tanglestar began to grow almost... tired and her eyes narrowed and her breathing slowed. But she held on for the sake of Snowberry, Whisperpaw and Blackpaw. But the feel of the opponents huge pitch black claws ripping her fur jolted her eyes open as she yowled in pain, and had to let go of her grip on its flesh. The badger screeched and hurled her aside. Tanglestar heard the wind in her ears as it swooshed by. All she heard was the mad cried of the badger, and the apprentices wailing in the tree... Her heart beat... and snowberrys... and his soft voice and shining pelt in the sunlight on a cool, crisp new leaf morning..... occ: After the next person posts, I'll write what happens.... she's not "dead" but she's going to loose a life. OOOOH this is SO good
