[Tanglestar]

Whisperpaw cried from the tree: "No!" As Tanglestar was flung by the badger, crashing into a tree. "no..." She felt a cold tear slowly make it's way down her cheek, and dripped off out of the tall tree she was in. She closed her sparkling eyes and held back anymore tears. She did not want Snowberry, Blackpaw, or even Tanglestar to see her like that.

Tanglestar woke with a jolt. Panting heavily she looked around for Snowberry. She loved him. How could she let him go? Just leave like that. But she was gone. Gone... Would she ever see his pure, fluffy white pelt again, and dazzling eyes? She closed hers and felt a tear roll down her face, weaving between her whiskers. She stifled a breath and lowered her head in shame. What a leader she was. Leaving two apprentices and a deputy alone with a badger in the middle of the forest. She was so mouse brained.
She got her eyes opened enough to notice she was at Fourtrees. How did I get here? She thought. Just then a big hole peopled in the middle of the ground. she narrowed her eyes as she cautiously paced forward to look inside. There was Snowberry. Right there. Back in the forest were they fought the badger together. She looked up to see a starry cat fight on the other side of the hole. It walked slowly toward her. "StarClan?" Tanglestar mumbled. "Starclan?" She said a little bit louder. "I'm... I am dead..." She tried to hold back a few more tears, but was unsuccessful at it. the cat got close enough to were Tanglestar could see it. Firestar The greatest leader and warrior of all time. Here in front of her. "Hello," He purred. Tanglestar couldn't understand why he was so happy, she had just died. She opened her mouth but nothing came out. "Helllloooo?" He tried again. Tanglestar swallowed. She couldn't believe what she said next. "My deputy is out there crying or my dead body with a raging badger still near and two apprentices in a tree and you say, 'hello??'" she bit her lip when she was done. Firestar only flicked his ear. "Excuse me," She purred once again. "Will you return a greeting?" She just stood there again, then had to greet him, if it was for Snowberrys life. "Hello, Firestar. May I ask why I am here? Am I dead?" I asked. Firestar blinked. "You are dead. But only one life." I shuttered. something felt like it was draining from me. I winced as it made me collapse on the ground, and this was sucking all the energy out from me. I lay still on the ground, breathing heavily. Firestar padded closer, flicking his tail as it he was happy to see me in such pain. "You have taken my place as the leader of ThunderClan, and one life has been taken back from you as leader. you are one paw step closer to starclan-" I didn't let him finish. "Send me back now then!" Firestar cleared his throat then started again. "You are one paw step closer to Starclan, and one paw step closer to your clan. You will be sent back as soon as you heal fully. I look forward to seeing you in dreams, young Tanglestar, leader of ThunderClan, the brave and the strong." He slowly dissolved into the open dark air and the stars that were in his pelt flew up into the sky. Tanglestar watched in awe. Her strength was still low, but the sky fadded back onto color, and her eyes closed as wind struck her limp body.
Slowly, she opened her eyes. A cool breeze swept over her and the vision was blurry... A big white blob, who's mouth was moving but she couldn't hear anything. then it cleared. He was saying her name. and it was snowberry. "Snowberry," she mumbled, voice cracking. She was there with him. Finally. Back with him... Her body was sore all over, everything throbbed and hurt badly. she could barley move anything.

[Snowberry]

Snowberry felt joy hit him. She was alright.
"Tanglestar!" He purred. "Your alright." He was hoping that the two apprentices didn't see what happen. If they did well they may find out that he Deputy Of ThunderClan had feelings, Not just feelings Really Deep feelings for his leader.

[Tanglestar]

Tanglestar tried to purr. Her eyes got cought in Snowberrys and she smiled. "Lost a life..." She meowed, then took a deep breath. "I thought I'd never see the clan again. Or you" She licked snowberry on the head and tried to stand up. Her legs were numb and she couldn't feel them... but she got up slowly... and rubbed against his soft fur.

[Snowberry]

Snowberry brushed agaist Tanglestar's long ginger pelt. Then he pulled away knowing that the apprentices might see.
"Blackpaw and Whisperpaw are safe." He meowed then turned to the tree they climbed.
"Blackpaw, Whisperpaw. It's safe now."

[Tanglestar]

Tanglestar turned to see the two shaking apprentices in the tree above. "Come on, I wont get you..." She purred, feeling better already.

Whisperpaw looked in amazement. Tanglestar was ok She scrambled down the tree, her snagged claws hurting, caked with dry blood. She spinted over to her and buried her face onto her long warm fur. "Tanglestar..." She mumbled. She was the closest thing Whisperpaw had to a mother.
As a medicine cat apprentice, she quickly scanned Tanglestars pelt for scratchs that might get infected.
"I'm fine, Whisperpaw." Tanglestar meowed to her.

[Snowberry]

"We better get back. And I'll take some warriors with me to see if we can find out where the bager went and where it could be." Snowberry meowed.

[Tanglestar]

Tanglestar nodded at Snowberrys words as blackpaw slowly made his way down the tree, whisperpaw was still on her flank and in tears. "Thank you all. And I'm glad all of you are safe."
Tanglestar waved her tail and limped through the forest toward camp. Every one was silent. So she broke it. "What were you all doing when teh badger came along?" She saw whisperpaw look down. "It was all my fault. I-I got a little mad at Blackpaws words..." She glanced at the other two toms to try to finish her story.

[Snowberry]

Snowberry shooked his head.
"No Whisperpaw I think we all got carried away with ourselfs." He meowed trying to make her feel better. Then added. "We're were doing some training. Battle moves. And both of them did really well."

[Tanglestar]

Tanglestar flicked her tail. "Good. And i see you got some training from the badger attack as well," She sighed, then smiled at them.

[Rainstar]

Blackpaw kept his head down in the back of the group as they headed back to camp. *How could H have let my gard down!? My leader last a life and Whisperpaw got killed and....all I did was sit in a tree! How could I have let my Father down!* Blackaw dug his claws into the soft dirt ground. *I promised my father I would do anything to protect my clan and move to his place of becoming leader like him!8 Blackpaw gazed into the sky, the sun was setting and the stars were apring.

Blackpaw's father gazed down at his small kit. "Look at you...You have your mothers eyes and my strength." Blackpaw looked up at his father. "I want to be just like you daddy! And become leader!" Blackkit was jumping up and down by now. "Oh! Can I go with you when you go to moonstone to get your nine lives?!" A warriors call came from outside. Blackpaw's father's voice rang above all the voices in the nursery, "You will have your turn to go, but now i have to go and reason with those pesky two leg cats. His father touched nose with him and turned to leave. "I'll be back." Blackpaw ran in front of his father. "You promise?" His father just licked his head, "We'll see each other sooner than you think."
"And when you get back you can train me just like you!" blackpaw was on his toes.
"Not if you don't take a nap."
Blackpaw ran to his mother and curled under her pelt. "ZZZZ.."
His father laughed, and left.

Blackpaw was so cought up in the flash bask he didn't here Whisperpaw drop back to see what was wrong.

[Snowberry]

"Blackpaw. Are you okay?" Snowberry asked.

[Rainstar]

Blackpaw shook his head. "Yeah I'm fine..." Blackpaw perseded on. "I just can't belive I could let you get all the creit!" He nugged Snowberry trying to make it a joke.

[Snowberry]

Snowberry laughed.
"I am way better than you!" He joked.

[Rainstar]

Blackpaw was surprised, "Well duh! your my mentor!" Blackpaw raced a head. "Can't catch me! Ha ha!" Blackpaw was dogging trees and hide inside of a prickle bush. "He wont think to look for me here." blackpaw waited to see his mentor to race by.

[Tanglestar]

occ: Uhm... Whisperpaw didn't die...

Tanglestar flicked her ear at the playing apprentice. So many things flowed through her mind. Whisperpaw just padded by her side, her tail dragging in the dirt. Tanglestar still had a slight limp, but she could get over it.

Whisperpaw still couldn't beleive how immature Blackpaw was. She almost got killed, and Tanglestar lost a life... "Toms," She mumbled under her breath. "Or is it just Blackpaw..." What did you see in him? a tiny mew came into her head. Whisperpaw just shook her head and kept pace with her leader as they made their way to camp.
