Blackpaw waited, but no one came, *Oh come on! warriors can't be that boring!* He pushed his way out from under the bush. Blackpaw scented the patrol a ways back and decieded to hunt. He pricked up his ears to hear any thing that my be prey. Blackpaw seen a small rabbit by a tree root. He crouched down, feeling the moust ground beneath him. He sprang forward the rabbit turn to run but it was to late, Blackpaw quickley snaps its neck and headed back to the patrol. THe warm scent quickley filled his nose, *yumm...I haven't eaten sence moon high on my night hunting partol. He spotted Whisperpaw padding next to Tanglestar, and proudly walks up with his kill. "Some one is too old to play tag! Or ressle!." Blackpaw could only muffle between the kill to talk to his mentor trailing behind the she-cats. "Come on Whisperpaw! Cheer up! You can't kepe living in the past!" Blackpaw seen the pain in her eyes, * You can tell me! What's wrong!* Blackpaw could only think of what to say but said nothing yet.

"Blackpaw, most warriors know not to play games. I'm sure most of them do but it's not about games when your a warrior and Deputy." Snowberry meowed then added. "Tanglestar, If it's okay with you could Blackpaw and Whisperpaw have the rabbit he caught?"

Blackpaw looked at the senior warrior, "Actually, I wanted to take this to the queens, and the kits! Or if they already hd some, you and Tanglestar. I can catch another, fro me and Whisperpaw." Blackpaw went back to tak to Whisperpaw, "Your being quiet are you okay? Because your never this quiet."

Tanglestar dipped her head. "Good thinking Blackpaw. Not your usual self, I can see," She purred. She felt Whisperpaw only tense up and move closer to her. "But snowberrys right," She added. "A warrior life isn't all about play. Especially when a badger was just seen in ThunderClan territory, and two apprentices was almost killed. She did not mention her loosing a life, though
Thanks, Tanglestar, just what I was trying to say! She thought. How could he be so cheerful when all this happened. He doesn't even say sorry, When Blackpaw tried to speak to Whisperpaw, she just moved to the other side of Tanglestar, not wanting to talk to his kit-like self.

Blackpaw questionaly looked at Snowberry, "What's up with her?" Blackpaw drooped his ears and held his head down.
occ:Why is whisperpaw mad? i'm confused.

occ: I think she's mad at him because of the way he's treating the losing the life thing. I think  Snowberry looked back at him and said so low that Whisperpaw and Tanglestar couldn't hear him. "She'll be better once we're back. You'll see." |

occ: yeah, pretty much. You know, even medicine cats need drama  Whisperpaw kept close to Tanglestar's flank, as if she was ready to attack anything that may harm her. She heard Tanglestar wince as a root made her stagger, and she began to limp again. She was still weak from her visit to starclan, and attacking the badger. Whisperpaw could tell that Tanglestar needed a nice long rest. But getting her to rest would be the hard part. |

Snowberry saw his leader limping again. Snowberry went right up to her and pushed his flank agaist her to support her abit more. Which Snowberry was enjoying being so close to her even though he would not let it show. Tanglestar's ginger pelt was agaist his white pelt. Slowly Snowberry meowed to her. "Nearly there."

"Thanks, Snowberry," She purred to him, Whisperpaw couldn't support her weight. She felt her cheeks burn hot with embarrassment, but she though it was probably just Snowberry so close top her. She knew she couldn't love him like that, the warrior code forbids it, and she needs to put ThunderClan first

Tanglestar cleared her throat. She pressed on, feelong the warming scent of Snowberry ease her aching body. Whisperpaw soon let up and padded quickly over to Blackpaw. "Blackpaw," She began, out of ear shot of the leader ad ddeputy. She hoped he would actually listen to her, in the fact that she's been ignoring his kit-like self.
